This is an archived posting from my previous website “Chips Antidotal Wanderings” – a personal blog about family, creative moments, and pain management activities in my life. That blog was active from 2004-2011.

So you probably already read my last blog post about the Clip and Create Art Challenge I’m hosting at CHW. [Update: CHW forums is now closed.  Sorry.]  I know that I’m not going to be the winner of the raffle, but that didn’t keep me from crafting up some fun projects anyway. Below are a few of the goodies I posted in the forums today. I hope they will help you get your muse jump started.

For this card I used water-color crayons to add the colors to the free graphic available from the printable clip art page posted in the challenge announcement. Then cut it out and mounted it on a couple of green scraps from my stash before adding it to the front of my card stock.  I did some color pouncing along the borders with a stencil brush and then ran the edges of the card across an orange ink pad. Popped on a couple of floral embellishments with mini-eyelets and walah – she’s done. Easy-peasy and fun!

Here’s a picture of one of the ATC’s I created, which happens to be available for trade right now if you are interested.

My little peek-a-boo friend here is one of the ATCs from a two-piece set.  And as of this writing, both of them are still available. If you like trading ATC’s be sure to let me know, cuz I’m always open to do an ATC trade!

I did several more projects for this challenge and you can see a few of them posted in the CHW forum string for our October Quick Fire challenge. By the way, it’s not too late for you to get in on this challenge and add your name to the raffle drawing for a nifty, spiffy crafty stash! One of the many things in that stash is another ATC card that I made from one of the graphics in my Pumpkin Patch Kids college pages. If you win the raffle, you’ll get to add this little fella to your ATC collection!

Join me in the challenge now! I’d love to see one of my blog followers win the raffle!  I hope you’ll leave me a comment here on my blog and let me know what you’re thinking these days. What say you?
